3D Secure (also known as "Verified by Visa" or "MasterCard SecureCode") is an authenticated payment system that offers added security for your online purchases. During payment, your bank checks the card holder's identity before validating the transaction.

The authentication process

Step 1: Place your order on our website and introduce the required data (Name, ID order number and amount) and [next >>]
Step 2: Verify the introduced data and [proceed with credit card payment >>]

Once you've validated your data, you will be redirected to your bank's website and there you have to introduce the usual credit card details (cc number, validity and security code).
A 3D Secure window appears and you are asked to follow an authentication procedure which differs for each bank. You may be asked to:

• enter your date of birth,
• enter a code received by text message,
• answer a personal question, etc.

When placing your order, check that you can receive 3DS authentication text messages (operator restriction, overseas transactions, network coverage, etc.).
Step 3: Complete the payment procedure and make sure that the transaction is confirmed with the thumbs up sign.
